Shimmer vs. Octaver: which one do you need for Ambient Guitar?

Today, I want to answer these questions that I get quite often from ambient guitar players:

- Do I need a shimmer reverb or an octaver pedal?
- What’s the difference between both for playing ambient guitar?
- Should I get both? Why do you have both on your board?

In this video, I’m going to show you the subtle differences between using an octaver pedal vs. a shimmer reverb, tell you the different applications for both, and how I personally use them in my ambient songs.
