How To Power High Current Guitar Pedals (500-1000mA) with a Power Brick

May 03, 2021

How do you power a high current pedal between 500mA and 1000mA with a standard power brick?

Most power supplies that you can mount underneath your pedalboard offer a maximum of 400-500mA from each output.

But what if you have a pedal that needs 700mA like my Boomerang III Phrase Sampler Looper?

The answer is to get a current doubler cable.

In the video above I explain what it is and I show you how I use it in my pedalboard setup.
