What are chord clones and why are they important?

If you want to write music on your guitar that is going to convey the right emotions, you need to write with the timbre of the strings in mind.

And making replicas, or clones, of your chords at other places of the fretboard unlocks the power of utilizing timbre as a songwriting tool in your ambient guitar music.

In this video, I give you examples of how you could incorporate chord clones into your practice to open your guitar timbre palette for songwriting.
