Are Expensive Guitar Patch Cables Worth It?

Why should you pay for expensive patch cables on your pedalboard? Is this really going to make a significant difference in the quality of sound?
In this video, I changed my entire pedalboard back and forth between cheap patch cables from music stores, and George L's high-end pre-made patch cables.
You can hear for yourself if it makes enough of a difference with low and high gain settings to justify upgrading your patch cables.
*Note: I was using annotations when I first made this video, but they are now discontinued on Youtube. Each time I'm playing the same clip, first time is expensive, second time is cheap cables. Thanks!
